Hi everyone, I'm Keith Shimfessel. Currently I am the worship minister (leader) at First Christian Church in Kernersville, NC. I have been here for close to nine years. There have been lots of changes during that time. Our church runs aprox. 1700 attenders on Sundays. This is a great church, wonderful people, some gifted musicians, singers, and tech support.
I spent some time traveling in the 80s with a few gospel groups. I have also worked in some recording studios as a musician, engineer and producer.
I am married with two kids (my oldest is entering college this fall at UNCG, he's going to be a music ed major).
I love listening to all kinds of music (and Kansas fans out there??) The local Starbucks is considered my southern office. I am pretty much on a first name basis with everyone there.
Anyway, I look forward to chatting with you all. Great to be on board here.
