Greetings All,

My name is Jeremy Haines and I am a worship leader from Southaven, MS (a suburb of Memphis, TN.) I am 28 and am on staff at a large church in the area as a worship leader for the student/college ministry as well as the church media guru guy. This fall I will also become the worship associate for a new "relevant" worship service we are launching. I am very excited that God has allowed me to be a part of this new direction for our church.

I have been playing guitar for 10 years, and have been a worship leader for 7. I spent 2 years on the road full time ministering all over North America before returning home to full-time ministry.

I am a tech geek and love to help people with sound, video and gear questions and/or nightmares...I think I just love a challenge.

Above all I can't wait to see how God is using worship in music throughout all of your areas. This forum is a great idea... You guys rock!!

Just thought I would drop an update on my intro. I am about 3 weeks into my new position as Pastor of Worship and Creative Arts at Spartanburg Community Church in Spartanburg, SC. This has been a very exciting couple of months and I can't wait to see and share what God has in store for me, my family and this great church!

Thanks for checking in!

Jeremy

Well...practically neighbors. I'm about two hours away from you in the mountains of North Carolina. Glad to meet you. If you ever feel the call to missions, you could come share some of your sound mixing expertise with us poor heathren infidel rednecks in these here hills. I hope the SC move proves to be God's "A" plan for your life.
