Hello Everyone!

I am Don and my wife Sandy and I attend Olive Branch Baptist Church in Sedalia MO. Actually we are outside of Sedalia in the countryside. We just finished adding new audio & video multi media gear 2 weeks ago and have started a new ministry called Sunday @ 7 for teens in this area. It is being presented as a large concert sitting with stage lighting and custom video accents done in a contemporary Christian format. This Sunday is our Second event and we are looking for additional bands and speakers for coming Sunday Night concerts.

We have been blessed by a supportive congregation making it possible to bring our little country church into the latest and greatest methods of presenting and leading worship! I am excited to find this website and look forward to visiting with many of you here. So to start off anyone with in this part of our world if you are interested in learning more about how you could play or speak for our New Teen Ministry drop me a line!

Thanks,

Don

Great to have you in the community. It's so exciting to find out about little country churches thinking outside the box to reach the next generation. Kudos!

Don, that sounds absolutely amazing. You know, many incredible ministries started out as "little country churches." With the vision you guys are casting out there, I'm sure there are great things ahead for you.

Welcome to the forums, by the way!

Well Don

My wife and I were at a large Calvary Chapel in Florida for 14 years - I was the Worship Pastor there. We now have a ministry to Ireland in the area of Worship Development and Resources through Greater Europe Mission (http://www.gemission.org). We work with all types of churches doing all types of styles. You can find out more about our work here (http://www.garyandbeth.org).

Our work consists of everything from one-on-one mentoring to full-on worship conferences. What we do mostly is worship workshops in local fellowships that can cover many different aspects of worship and worship leading, including theological and philosophical discussions, teambuilding, practical/musical training, and anything else that may be a need in each particular situation.

Our plan is to move to Ireland full-time in about a year or so, but for now (while we're raising our support) we are in Europe several months out of the year.

So that's us in a nutshell...
