I have been asked to lead worship for a womens conference. It is a two day event with a 30 min worship service at the beginning of each day. I am excited to see what God is going to do but wanted to see if there are others that have done conferences for women and what types of songs they have selected. The first one I have been told is that they will open up a time of ministry at the end so if any one has any ideas I would love to hear them.
Thanks

Travis Cotrell does worship for Beth Moore's conferences and he does praise choruses, hymns and such.....

Yeah, I don't typically plan a setlist for a "womens' conference" a lot differently than any other - just pick some familiar songs and hymns ... go with the more popular, Top CCLI type songs, so that you have familiar ground ... usually, lots of churches would be represented at something like this.
And awesome that God opened this door for you!

I agree... but consider checking with the conference planners to see if they have a theme for the event.
That might help narrow which songs you go with.
This past spring, my sister's church did a multi-church conference and we did sing several of the top 25 songs from CCLI, plus some familiar hymns along with some of the newer songs from the Gettys. We also had a 'theme' song ("Jesus Messiah") for the conference which we sang at each of the worship sessions over the 2 days.
I think the Women of Faith conference group has some song collection books that might have 3-part or 4-part harmonies for women only, if you'll be using a praise team.

It is such a great honor that this door was opened and of course being a perfectionist I want it to be perfect. So I have to catch myself and stop and pray and give it to Jesus.
I have been wanting to get with the planners of the conference to see if what the theme is. Thank you all for your thoughts.
