OK - I know this is a big stretching feature request that would take a ton of development.
But ... I'd LOVE to see a feature where PlanningCenterOnline could develop some "bridge" applications to connect and share the "People" database with the databases that exist in other, major church database programs.
For example, our church uses CCB (churchcommunitybuilder.com) as our primary membership database. It's robust and powerful, and about the only thing it doesn't do is SCHEDULING and Music/Rehearsal management. (not to mention that the PCO interface is just way slicker and cooler).
We've been told from the top down that we MUST add people details in CCB .. then add them into PlanningCenter. CCB comes first (because it's the church's master db), and then PlanningCenter.
As a result, we're literally managing two databases.
If someone changes their email address, phone #, etc., I have to make that change in CCB, then make that change in PCO.
I'd love to see some kind of "bridge" that would allow PCO and CCB to "share" personal information. I assume there are probably 2-3 other "major players" out there in church membership management software - so it would be a partner relationship, blah, blah ...
You get the idea.
As for others ... how are you currently managing multiple "contact" databases?
