sick - ugh

hi everyone
I am requesting prayer for tonight and this weekend espec. because I have some kind of flu virus (no not the swine one... heh) that's VERY long and sporadic. First 3 days of fever were this weekend while I was taking the YG on a 30 hr. famine retreat.. .so THAT was a blast. Mon. I took it easy and then yesterday I worked 10 hours and felt much better..

Today the fever is back over 100 and I feel absolutely horrendous.
My kids and hubby have had this (as well as our poor babysitter who got it after watching the kiddos for one night a week ago...) and it takes a while to go away.. over a week. This is stage 2 - apparently stage 3 will make me think my head is exploding. lovely.

Anywho, I still have to do choir and praise team practice tonight and it hurts to move and I can't stop shaking from this dang fever. And then Sunday of course... yay. (last week someone else led because I had the youth group away, and choir was just cancelled - so that's an impossibility tonight. :( )

PLEASE pray for us - and pray for me espec. tonight!!! My family has been collectively sick for close to 5 weeks now, our house looks like a federal disaster area due to that, which is driving me up a wall, and... well. I feel like crap.

Lord, I pray that you will restore this family to health and help them to do all that needs to be done. Give them strength and grace!

oh man, I'm so sorry to hear it - we went 6 straight weeks with someone in our house w/ fever and sick, so I know the feeling. I pray for incredible strength and healing to come to you now.

Thank you everyone! It's ONLY because of prayer that I was able to get out of bed or accomplish anything at all!!! Not exaggerating!!!

Made it through practice - getting there was half the battle! Luckily hardly anyone decided to come to choir.. heh. Nice weather and whatnot. ;)
Praise team, I gave them fair warning, we ran through the songs, and left. Well - all but one song - I couldn't even begin to accomplish anything with it, so we left it for Sun. morning practice as my head was spinning and fever was returning.

Fever is still hanging on and now half of my neck is pretty stinkin swollen - weird - so off to the dr. I go at last. Rest of family seems to be doing MUCH better now though!

EDIT - I have strep - no one else with my symptoms has tested positive.. but I sure have. yay me. No wonder I've had a miserable week.. ahhhh
