Hey guys, and gals. I finally figured out a way to post audio so here is the link. It is a very rough recording, done at home with audacity and my laptop.

The link takes me to the Facebook Video homepage. Perhaps you could put your song on MySpace or PureVolume so I can have a listen. I hope to hear it soon!

If it's mp3 you can post it right here on TWC. When you are posting a message, there is a paperclip at the top for attachments. You can upload your song there.

stand up, I guess I had to wait longer. I had tried that before but thought it didn't work.

Very nice! I like the pace, and particularly like songs like this that blend in the traditional. I did not have a copy of the lyrics, so I did not listen closely to them. I could see this song even being arranged a couple of different ways. The pace is great if it is played as special music. You have the pace at about 124 now, but I might slow it down a bit for a congregation participation song, maybe to 105 especially for older folks who love the traditional version. Personally, if I was in the congregation, I would like it at the higher rate. Might be nice with some other instruments too, but sounds great with just the guitar.

Was I kind enough? :D

Kind enough.

I see what you are saying about slowing it down. We have done it a couple of times as an opener. I leave everyone sitting and by the time we get to the chorus everyone gets the message and... stands up. Just adding a bass adds, but I'd like to let a good lead guitar player play aroiund with it.

Great words and message. We as His people need to stand up spiritually and morally, and we begin that by standing in worship of the Great God.

I like your melody; it uses more than 3 or 4 notes and is not overly repetitive. In my book that is quality songwriting.
Thanks for putting it on here for us to hear. Words and chord charts would be appreciated.
