Ideas on how to recognize mothers?

Hey guys, I am looking to find a new way to recognize mothers from the stage/mic. Does anybody have any ideas on how to do that with fun? We are a young church, with MANY mothers, and a couple of women that are unable...so I need to be sensitive to that.

I don't have any suggestions on what TO DO.... but I was once encouraged by a pastor to NOT DO this one:

Give awards to mothers on the fly from the pulpit. Such as announcing would the mother with the most children please stand. And once it's determined the lady with the most children.... she has children from 3 different men, one before she was married and one after she was divorced (and not knowing who the father was).

It just seemed to promote the wrong thing and this could very easily happen without you knowing it's about to.

Or... having the youngest mother stand up and it be a 15 year old or something.

It was a warning, as a young worship planner, that I had not thought of. Glad he brought situations like these to my attention.
