Open Heart Surgery

My dad is having a double bypass on the 12th. He is in need of a triple but they cannot access the third artery at all. The heart has done some rigging of its own however and is using some veins in place of the third artery and they say he should live a long normal life after the bypasses. He is out of work and unable to even move around until the surgery because it is so severe that he cannot risk any chance of getting the slightest bit hot.

Update: surgery was supposed to last 8 hrs. It lasted 3. He was supposed to be 48 hrs on the ventilator in ICU. He was there less than 24 hrs and is now in a room. Last hr they removed all the tubes and he is far ahead of Schedule. Thanks for the prayer. Keep praying God moves!

Praise God! He is so good! I pray you all feel Him extra close during this time of recovery. I only had knee replacement surgery, and that was stressful enough. Blessings to you and your family! --Nina

I just heard that Dad will be going home tomorrow morning. He was supposed to be in the hospital two at best and now he is going home tomorrow after having the surgery Thursday. (12th) God is a Healing God!!!!
