Every time I play this song, I listen to it over and over. Our band has never played it. My children and I sing it together or I sing it alone...driving...in my quiet times....when I need to refocus on what's important.
This song starts out with these words: "The time has come...the time is now...to break away from the crowd..." :o
The cry of my heart is that I would be different from the world...filled with the love and light of Jesus! That is my heart for all the people I love! I want to be a world changer and be surrounded by world changers!
The second verse begins: "When you fall down and think you're thru...When sin has taken the best of you...Fall into grace...Rise anew!!"::)
It is so sad when we fall down. The Bible doesn't say that a righteous man never falls down...it just says that he gets up!! Falling into grace is such a beautiful way to express receiving the forgiveness and mercy of God!
My favorite part of the song:
"We will run and never stop....til we've given all we've got...to the fields...thru the fire...til we hit that final wire...By His power we will make it...We will...We will be there!!!!" (I love this song!!!)
There is something in the song that motivates me to persevere throughout every trial and disappointment...and to win the harvest! To be always focused on Jesus and my final destination...at home forever with HIM!!!!!:)
Aaron Spiro is an amazing guitar player and he has an incredible voice, but the message of this song never fails to hit me! And I just have to listen to it again.:)
