Last Sunday we hosted Ted Pearce at our church. He's a Messianic artist based out of Texas. His concert was great. He plays guitar and sings, and writes most of his songs. I had heard some of them but hadn't heard Ted before. His presentation was entertaining and really good quality (his voice is smooth and powerful, reminiscent of one of my favorite worship leaders, Tommy Walker) and VERY worshipful. There were some great visuals on the screen while he was singing; his songs were very singable and our people responded well. He was heartfelt and down-to-earth, and someone I would highly recommend to you, if you ever have the chance to host him. Just a wonderful experience all around.
Next Sunday we'll be teaching our congregation one of his songs - Hallelu Et Adonai (Praise the Lord) - it's catchy and fun and will be a great 'gathering' song for the start of our service. ("Praise Him with the cymbals, praise Him with the dance, praise Him with the shofar, praise Him with your hands... Hallelu et Adonai, come and praise the Lord") We rehearsed it with our team today and I can't wait to do it in the service.
