Hi All,
I thought I'd let you know about some new Christmas songs, in case anyone is looking for any :)
ResoundWorship.org have just release 2 new ones, and new version of one from last year:
"We worship a wonderful Saviour (http://www.resoundworship.org/song/we_worship_a_wonderful_saviour)" reflects on Jesus, the one through whom all things were created, coming to be born a child as God with us. The themes will continue to be useful into the new year, and the worshipful chorus will help to voice your response to Immanuel.
"On Christmas Day (http://www.resoundworship.org/song/on_christmas_day)" picks up the contrasts and apparent contradictions of the season – how it is a humble girl could help bring hope to the whole world, and how 'the hands that once split night from day now feebly clutch a blade of hay'. The powerful 6/8 rhythm and singable melody will easily draw people into worship over the Christmas period.
Finally, after the huge response to What kind of throne (http://www.resoundworship.org/song/what_kind_of_throne) last Christmas, we have posted a choir and orchestra arrangement (http://www.resoundworship.org/song/what_kind_of_throne_choir_and_orchestra). You can use the whole thing, or pick out the instruments and voices available to you.
I hope you find these useful.
Blessings
Kieran
