Question: Has anyone ever used DC*B's "O Praise Him" specifically as a Christmas song?

I got burnt out on this song a few years ago at school (the campus band played it for every convocation and church service), so I've never used it as a leader. But, I heard it the other day on the radio, and as I listened to the lyrics (with Christmas stuff on my mind), I realized how much the lyrics reminded me of the Christmas/nativity story.

We're using "O Praise Him" as the shepherd's song in our Christmas production this year.

And we're using Robbie Seay's Song of Hope as the wise men's song...

Last year we used "One of Us" as the lead in to the Christmas story followed by an awesome video of Jesus talking to the Father in heaven before he leaves for earth (wearing an army jacket, with a duffel bag) (This is the theme song from the show "Joan of Arcadia") -

One we go back to every couple of years is "Jesus, Born on This Day." by Mariah Carey. We did it year before last as a children's choral with one of our youth singing the lead. It's really an amazing song.

Last year we used "Let There Be Peace on Earth" as the finale to our cantata. We also used "What Child is This?" We opened with the youth singing "Sleighride" while running around the room dancing, which was really cool.
