She seems to be a critics darling right now - I've heard nothing but great things, comparing her material to "Indescribable" (recorded by Chris Tomlin): theological, deep, passionate, and powerful. I'm not very familiar with her, but I was wondering if anyone else has 'discovered' her yet? Fill me in.

I heard it on the radio in our office this morning but I couldn't catch all of it. Sounded like a good upbeat song.

Well, my nosiness got the best of me - I just downloaded "Suddenly" from Vicky's new c.d. - I think I like it. I definitely like her background - an AOG girl who studied at Oxford under folks like Alister McGrath & N.T. Wright! I like the lyrics...I think I'll buy the rest of the c.d. soon because I suspect I'll really like her stuff. Now to see how my Wife responds to her tunes. ;-)

I just saw Vicky play in Southern California and she was pretty awesome! Her song 'Yesterday, Today and Forever' is a perfect worship song for almost any venue! You should definately check it out!

have I heard her. bah.lol I think I may be her biggest advocate...she is all over my forum. Great worship leader, great heart, amazing 2 CD's, awesome songwriter for Vineyard also. (wrote awesome God). and seeing her live was just as good.

Vicky Beeching is an exciting, passionate, gifted lead worshipper. I have both of her albums and had a chance to meet and talk with her. Very talented and loves the Lord. Yesterday, Today, and Forever is going to be a "classic" worship song for years to come. If you havn't heard it already buy the album!

I first saw her about a year and a half ago introducing new artists and songs on New Song Cafe on worshiptogether.com. Then I heard her sing. It blew me away. Great music, great guitarist, deep lyrics. Even when she takes the song "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus", centers on just the chorus and then adds new lyrics - WOW! Can't wait to hear more from her.

We have been using her version of Turn Your Eyes. It was a great way for us to introduce our people to samples without freaking them out. Plus it straight rocks at the bridge. Really dynamic...people have really connected with it here. I have Reason files made for it if anyone needs them.

Well, I just discovered that she wrote & sang the excellent Vineyard song "There 's No One like our God" from a few years back which we've done with some frequency (usually Kim leads it) at Community Church. GREAT TUNE!

Vicky was one of the worship leaders at a WorshipTogether worship conference I went to in Toronto 2 or 3 years ago. One of the mini-seminars they had was just an intimate worship time with some of the conference worship leaders. I went to the one Vicky led. It was just her on an acoustic and a guy playing a conga. It was in a small room with probably 20-30 people. It was by far one of the best worship experiences I've ever had. Later on at the evening meeting she led worship with Hillsong United

We enjoy Vicki's song "Yesterday, Today & Forever"--it's one of my personal favorite songs to sing! What a great energetic song about the faithfulness of God. Our congregation loves this song!:)

We also sing "Captivated," a gentle worship song with the keyboard leading and the band quietly backing up. Our congregation loves this song too!:)

I like Vicky's musical style, but more than that, I love her lyrics. She is giving some beautiful songs to the Body of Christ, for the Body of Christ to give to the KING!:):)

OK - so this thread has gone on long enough .. I just picked up the album .. I have been doing "Awesome God," and "Yesterday Today and Forever" since my junior year of college, about 5 years ago. She contributed to a vineyard cd and is really good friends with Matt Redman. I tried to find out more info on her back then, but she was just starting out. She had also been hosting the worshiptogether.com's "new song cafe." She is talented and we will hear from her more down the road...I'm gonna go buy her album now.
