I'm not very good at english, so it might not be very fluent. But here we go!

I'm a 19 year old boy from a very very small country named the Faroe Islands. It consists of 18 islands wich are located between Iceland and Norway - in the middle of nowhere!

I am the worship leader or worship pastor at my church, Oasan. I love my church and I love my country. My heart burns for worship and I dream of seeing every Faroese person lifting his hands in worship. I want to see a new culture in the Faroes. A Jesus-culture.

When I was ten years old God put a desire in my heart. I wished to lead worship even though I had absolutely no idea what it meant to worship. When I was about 13 a guy gave me a prophetic word. We didn't know each other then and I have never seen him again. He told me that I was going to have a lot to do with worship.
Now I grew up in a very small church wich had a very limited number of musicians, so when I learned how to play piano I soon got involved in worship. When I was about 15 I began leading worship, and it was horrible :D Not because I was a bad worship leader, but rather because of my own feelings and a bad selfimage. Sometimes I would say I was sick and stay home when services were and I was supposed to lead :D But I still always knew that God wanted me to be a worship leader.
When I was 18 my family(parents and 5 brothers :) and I went to Denmark to live for some time. At that time I had a bad self-image and I had a very hard time spiritually. But when I came back to the Faroes I went to a youthmeeting in Oasan, and there God healed me from my past: bad self image, sin and bad habits. He gave me a fire and a heart for worship. I became worship leader at Oasan and since then I've been leading a LOT. 2 or 3 times every week at my church and other churches as well. I love it!

I have a worship band that rocks! We play at every youth meeting.
Our youth group stands before a thrilling future. God is already doing some great stuff and our youthmeetings have a very high standard in terms of worship and preaching or teaching. We've seen some healings in the past months and we've also seen our group growing. But God wants to do more! He wants revival and we gotta get desperate for revival!

To me worship is not music. It's a lifestyle. Your life should be worshipping God. Music though is a great tool to use in worship. It helps us focus and set our eyes on the Lord.

My wish for every worship leader out there is that they stay humble. That they get pride and religion out of their lives. That they never put the music before Jesus. That they stay desperate for more of Jesus. And that they always obey the Holy Spirit when leading. Do everything with revival as your aim. If we're not desperate for revival we gotta repent.

Now I could say a lot more, but maybe it comes later...
