Ok, is anyone out there doing any video in there services, other then for lyrics. I am especially interested in anyone that is using movie clips for services. I am fairly new to the world of video and I realize I have a lot to learn, but I don't want to have to reinvent the wheel. Thanks.

We use a lot. Motion backgrounds, movie clips, youtube videos, our own videos. Make sure you have a CVLI license and check the list before you decide what movie clips to use.

So, how do you get your movie clips?

We used to use highwayvideo a ton.
Now we utilize igniter media when we are not using custom production.
Sermonspice.com is also a good clearinghouse. We don't often use movie clips as it can be a big pain in the rear to get permissions.

Actually, from what I understand all you need is a CVLI license and, of course, hope that the movie you want to use is on the list.
Thanks for the recommendations of video sources.

At my church we're doing a night of worship and we are looking for videos of people worshipping. Not so much backgrounds or worship videos, but videos of just people worshipping. It's going to be a bockground image and we'll have a live worship band so any sound on the video will be taken off. If anyone knows of any good quality videos of this, or even videos that have this in it that I may be able to slice it out of, could you please post a link?

Surely someone there has a hi-def camera you could use to shoot that? They are pretty cheap these days.
