First of all, I want to say, "Wow!" There are more people out there with a passion for worship than I ever realized. I am a 36 year old General Manager of an Extended-Stay Hotel. That's what I do; but my entire reason for living is to be a worshipper - that's who I am. That is why I exist. I am the worship leader of North Hills Church of God in Thornton, Co. I am married to my very talented and beautiful wife, Kelli. This year we will be celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. We have two beautiful daughters, Brooke, 15 and Eden, 13. My all-consuming passion is to enter the Holy Place, to commune with God and to be in His presence. The veil has been torn my friends. We have access. I'm tired of holding back. I'm tired of church-as-usual. I live to see God move. I want people's eyes to be opened to the reality of God's presence. I plead with God every day to change the hearts of those who are so set in traditions that they "miss it" when God comes in. I want a heart of worship like David had. No fear - no hesitantcy. just pure uninhibited worship. I want the church of today to bless the heart of God and bring a smile to His face that He might bless us with His powerful presence. I want to experience the tangible, undeniable, unquenchable glory of God in my life. I want to see, feel and be drenched in his glory and anointing. To sum it all up in five short words, "I want more of Him".
My favorite Christian music includes: Pocket Full Of Rocks, "Song to The King" (if you love worship, this is a must have CD - very anointed);
Among Thorns, all of their CD's; Third Day; Kutless; All of Hillsongs, Lakewood, etc.
One of the best books you could ever read on worship, leading worship, etc. is the book entitled "Exploring Worship" by Bob Sorge - great resource!
May the sweet presence of our Lord Jesus touch you, fill you and baptize you afresh right now. God bless you. Bye for now, Stan
