I'm gonna start my first year in college, but I feel that I picked something for the money I might earn out of it rather than actually liking it.Since a kid I always wanted to serve God in whatever I did,but I've been straying from that more.
I'm trying to face the decision of whether I should continue my studies in computer engineering or pursuing what I've been wanting to do which is study music education, composition, and helping with the sound at my church.
Maybe I just need to find what God's true will for my life is,and go for that, but I'm kinda lost in that as well.
Please pray that I might daily spend my time with God,and that His will for me might be revealed in His timing, and that I'll be able to stay sane while I wait.

Amzi,
This is definitely a time where you need the Holy Spirit, God's Spirit of Wisdom, to give you direction. I pray for that to happen.

I had to make that choice, and I opted for Music Theory/Composition, and loved it.

I think the first thing is to ask God to reveal to you HIS plan for your life ... keeping in mind, you can always be involved in music ministry, regardless of whether or not it's your full-time occupation ...

Something to consider.... can you take what you have done so far in your computer studies and use it as a jumping off point into something else where you can combine it with what is on your heart? You have a wonderful opportunity here to seek God and have His grace guide you in way that honors Him by your obedience.
