Thanks for having this community...it looks awesome:D
My role in worship...hmmm...I've taken a 20 yr sabbatical, raising a tassel of kids...looks like I'll be joining our choir within the next month or so. My husband is minister of adult education at Second Baptist of Houston (north campus) and I look for ways to be supportive in his ministry.
Meanwhile, I'm a songwriter, and occasionally sing/speak at ladies' retreats and luncheons, etc. I love writing in almost any genre, and find great joy in hearing someone else sing the prayers and ideas that have pounded in my heart for weeks and months.
I play piano/keyboard a little, sing a little, but pray a lot. I'd much rather be known as an intercessor than songwriter any day.
