Hello all,
Just wanted to start by saying thank you to "Saint Lewis" for directing me to this site. My name is Darrin and I am 38 years old. My family and I just moved from Fremont, CA to Phoenix, AZ a month ago. My wife's family lives here, her mom, dad, sister and her family. We have been trying to find a church here and it has been difficult. We came from an awesome church in Fremont called Harvest House Church. The pastor was my youth pastor many years ago. We have known each other for 23 years. He is a great man that is leading that church into some awesome things. His Wife and I lead the worship for the church. His wife's name is wendi and her brothers are well know throughout the christian community. Her Brother is BIll Johnson from Redding church where Brian and Jenn Johnson are worship leaders. If you know Bill Johnson then you can guess how anointed My pastor Greg is.
Ok that was abit of background on the church I came from and who pastors there. Now abit about myself. I have been leading worship for 21 years and I am still learning about worship. I love to bring people into the throne room so they can meet with God. Since we moved to Arizona and trying to find a church, I feel abit disconnected and disoriented because we don't have a church family here yet. I have been playing my guitar and worshiping at home so I don't feel completely lost. lol. I have 3 children, Sheridan 8, Brendan 6, and Braeden 5 months. They are 3 wonderful kids. Yeah they fight, Sheridan and Brendan :eek: but I try to get them to love each other. My wife Kristin and a wonderful woman and a great mother. She has had a hard time with this transition because all of our friends are back in California and since we have not found a church home yet we don't really have any friends here. I beleive that God has moved us to Arizona for a reason. That is the only reason we moved because God spoke to us and believe me I prayed the, "God please drop the brick on our heads so we know it is you" prayer. He confirmed it in many ways. I would have never moved if I didn't hear clearly from God. Now we are in a place of "HUH?!? OK GOD, WHAT NOW!!" :confused: I know God will start to unfold why we are here but you know that the waiting really stinks. Anyway I do have a myspace page with Worship Blogs I write and I can put them over here too if you don't check them out Myspace. So you can sign up and request to be a friend and you can see my page. You dont have to build your page or anything. My sister got me hooked my myspace. I had never gave it a second thought until I moved and figured that it would be a great place to update all our friends back home. Well I can post my blogs here to if that is easier.
I am looking forward to making some new online friends here and hearing all the great things you have to say.
