Only God can work in such ways! Here's the short of it... I started playing guitar at the ripe age of about 6 and continued to play for about 8 years, until I gave it up. In the following 30 years or so, I picked up the guitar a few times but just never got the bug. Then, about 8 months ago, and about a year and a half after rededicating my life to christ, I got the most burning desire to play guitar again. Without really having a clue why, I went to the local shop and and picked up an acustic guitar. Shortly there after, some of the older ladies in church heard that I played and asked the paster If I could play worship. This was all unbeknownst to be! And now I lead worship at a small but very christ based awsome church in South Lake California. The truth of it is though that I could not believe that anyone has been more blessed than me by God using me. All these years later, I now know why God gave me that talent so meny years ago. And by faith He has given me back a burning desire to play and serve him through music. And that's pretty cool!
