Problem with producing loops+click in garageband

Hey everyone,

I am having some troubles with Garageband. I am trying to produce a file that has both a click and a loop, with the click panned 100% to the left and the loop 100% to the right, so that when I plug into our sound system we can put them into two separate channels for monitoring.

When I listen to the mix in Garageband, I get the desired effect. However, as soon as I export it (using either "song to itunes" or "song to disk") both tracks end up in the center.

I have tried to google the problem, and have turned off the echo, reverb, and compression on both tracks and the master track.

Any other thoughts?

The Click on Garageband was internal. And i think the best way to resolve this problem is to make a separate click track via Midi. After you done with your composition, you can add another 1 track mono (software instrument). You can assign the track to Percussion sound (on the Right side), and after that you can made click by draw 1 note and copy-paste it as many as you need. Then you can assign the click track to the output you want.
