Not sure if this shouldn't be in the "reviews" section but I just charted a song by 3rd day titled THIEF. Having the time to chart it, really having to pay attention to the chord changes and timing and especially the words, man this song speaks. Anyone else think this would be a great "Resurrection Sunday" song with the right programming around it. Man, other than that, speechless. Anyone hear me?

Yeah, man, can't beat that old school Third Day. We've used this one off and on over the last decade in or around Resurrection Celebrations. Very good to do dramatic works to. Also very good to perform. Especially if your singer has a little bit of that "southern yeah" oomph in the voice...

I still remember the first time I ever heard this song. It was actually not that long ago, within the past year. Anyways, it was done by a guy at my church with just him and his acoustic guitar. Not only did this guys do an amazing job with the song, but this song spoke to me so that I have not forgotten and I can still see it all in my mind. When I start feeling like I am without hope, I will play that song for myself (usually in the car really loud) and tell myself that if this thief could join Christ in heaven even after a life of ill doings, then Christ can forgive me also and I can be with him in glory. Yes, this song speaks in a huge way.

I've been practicing it with the acoustic the last hour goign for the voicing that he uses. I can do it but need more practice on some o the phrasing while playing. I'm gonna get my keys player on it too. Thinking about me starting it and her layering in some stuff. Songs like this are what gets me excited about P&W music and being able to be involved in music ministry at church. PRAISE the LORD!! With all the dissappointment going on right now, He speaks when I don't even ask!!
