Kid Sick

Hey Ya'll,

Andrew (my 1-year old) just had to go to the hospital for bloodwork .. he started breaking out in red bumps/welps Wed PM. We thought it was an allergic reaction to Amoxil, the antibiotic he's one for some sinus stuff, because he had some "bug bite" looking rashes LAST TIME, but it's gotten worse and worse. Now, he's covered in big red welps all over, and is running 101 fever.

Pray for us, and pray that the lab gets the bloodwork back to the pediatrician ASAP .. if it's viral and infectious, we've all got to keep him away from the rest of the kids.

Sorry to hear about your son. This is certainly not a good combination...a high temp mixed with severe rashes. It sounds like an immune reaction, maybe to an insect bite. Problems are difficult enough with adults but I know you must feel, as I do, that I would take the problems myself to end my child's suffering. Please accept my prayers for your son's healing and thank the Lord for putting people on earth that are able to help solve these medical difficulties.
