Hey Ya'll -
I've just added "Though I Can't See You" to my IH Profile (http://www.indieheaven.com/ct/?ad=3&ref_id=72397). This is one of my all-time favorite worship ballads, written by a dear friend and mentor, Mack Tucker. I had to edit the intro and outtro to shorten it to 6MB or less, but you can get the idea, of course. The full version is on the video (see below).
This is one of those worship ballads that you can do in church, and even though nobody has ever heard it, they are singing it with strength and passion from the get-go. It's so simple, and the lyrics are strong.
In addition, I posted the FULL VIDEO of this song, as shot live during "Worship Under the Stars" 2005. Mack Tucker (the writer) is the acoustic guitar who plays the awesome guitar solo in the middle of the song.

You're right - that guitar solo was beautiful! Too bad we don't have a piano/keyboard player in our church. I can't imagine the song without that. Thanks for sharing this video.

Believe it or not, it was originally written for guitar!
Fred did a really good job with re-arranging the song and making it 'his'...
and I must say - that tenor backin' him up sounds GOOOOOD! ;-)
Seriously, though - I do love this song, and I think Fred's arrangement/performance for WUTS is top notch. I don't know why this, and "Fix my Eyes" aren't be sung in churches across the USA yet!

Shannon,
The main reason these two songs aren't sung in churches in because of my "slackness" in getting leadsheets published and uploaded to highestpraise.com (http://www.highestpraise.com), which hasn't been really updated in about 1-2 years, unfortunately!

Yeah, I'm still waiting on those.
Thanks.

Ben -
Funny you should post that church sign - I saw the one at your church the other day:

Hey Ya'll -
I'd shared this in a mailing list online, and someone asked for the chords, so I thought it would be cool to just post them here. Note, we own/adminster the copyright to this song, so we have given ourselves permission! In other words, because I'm posting full lyrics/chords here, please don't assume it's license for anyone to do it without specific, expressed permission from the copyright holders or administrators!

*** Note, for some reason, the forum isn't allowing the spacing between the chords ... so they aren't over the proper lyrics .. you'll have to "hear" where these chords change!
Verse:
D E
Though I can't see You.
D E
Though I can't feel.
D E
Still I will follow.
D E
Still I will kneel.
D E
Though none go with me.
D E
Though all fall away.
D E
Still I will follow.
D E D Esus ... E
Still, I will pray.
Chorus:
A F#m7
There is none like You.
D2
There is none so pure.
D/E E D/F# E/G#
And I will sing your praises.
A F#m7
You have taken my shame.
D2
You have given Your Name.
D/E E D/E E Dmay 7 E
And I will sing Your praises, Lord.
E Dmaj7 ...E
I'll worship You, Lord.
E Dmaj7 .. E
I'll worship You, Lord.
E Dmaj7 ... E
I'll worship You, Lord.
Note: I like to add that "Maj 7" frequently on the D ... which would be the C#, and of course, on most of the straight "major" chords, I'll add the 2, as you can hear on the piano part I'm playing.
Hope you're able to learn it and have in your church - it ends in "A", so it's a great song to medley with something such as "How Great is Our God" (which is exactly what we did on the "Worship Under the Stars" CD. After the acapella final Chorus, we end on the A, and immediately go into strumming/acoustic for "How Great is our God" which then medlied with a big chorus of "How Great Thou Art" ... we had about 2,000+ people that night, and it was incredibly uplifting!
For the Kingdom,
Fred

I see you found good old churchsigngenerator.com I've had many a good time with that puppy. :)
And how about that chilli cookoff on Friday? Am I invited, or did my poop run people off?
