I figured I'd share all of my knowledge on the subject in a concise easy to read primer. If you follow these steps you should be able to lead others in an intimate, and God centered worship time with relative ease.
This is the ultimate worship leading guide. If you can get good at these steps you'll find it rewarding and character building each time you join with others to worship in a corporate setting.
1) Deny your self.
2) Repeat step 1 over and over again.
Ok, ok, I jest, but I thought this would be a good topic starter for us to post our thoughts on worship "leading" so to speak. What are some helpful hints, tips, tricks, of the trade, etc.
Also, biblically, what is a worship leader? How do we fit modern music into that concept? Are there certain prerequisites for those who would "lead" worship in the New Testament Church, as opposed to the Old Testament assembly? Your thoughts are more than welcome!
