Re:Create

Hello Everyone,

I was wandering if anyone has attended or will be attending the Re:Create conference. We will probably be there this year and I was wanting to get the insight of people who have been.

Hey Darryn -
I'd really like to go .. I was invited to go, but it's right in the middle of our transition into our new facility .. a giant task, no doubt. Plus, I have to "see" if I can get some "conference" money in the budget for FY08 .. my position was just created in March 07 when I came on staff, so there is no budget for my attending the conferences. I'm sure I can get a budget established, as the Tech Guys get to do it, the children's ministry does it ... so I'm sure it'll happen - I will likley have to be picky and choosy which one(s) I'll go to.

The problem with re:create is the date - feb 4-8 ... no kidding, our timeline shows that may be the first week in our new facility.

I went last year and am going back this year. The real value of this conference is the relationships built that continue beyond the sessions and the (unbelievably amazing!!) meals.
