Hey All...I really could use your help to think through this topic a little more. See This Post on My Blog (http://practicalworship.blogspot.com/2007/08/discussion-2-personal-preferences.html) for some previous discussion.
I've been given the opportunity to lead our worship gatherings on Oct. 21, and have been asked to discuss the relationship between personal and corporate worship. My big point is going to be (paraphrase), personal preferences in worship are of God and our corporate worship should reflect those personal preferences. I would love some more input on this subject, especially some Scripture and/or personal stories that show how bringing personal worship into a corporate setting can be a beautiful thing.
