But what you say that is not so obvious is: (1) having a formal list of essential traits and sticking to them (rather than just asking your buddies, or including people just because they said they wanted to be 'in the band' and not hurting their feelings), and (2) putting a limit on the time the team is together - re-evaluating and re-select each year. Good stuff, thanks. In one way, all 5 points are, “Duh!”.
