Hello Worshipers,
As you may have noticed this week, we’ve been doing some “testing” and you may have seen quite a few emails, “tweets” and threads created from our “test, please disregard” work. We’re still tweeking it, but we’re working on an incredible patch of code that will build a bridge.
The bridge will connect the articles and news published in the e-zine section (homepage) of TheWorshipCommunity.Com to the Discussions that are happening over in the Forums.
Essentially, when a new article is published here on the site, an identical thread will be created in the forums. Replies to either the article (on the e-zine side) or on the “thread” (in the forums) will each appear as “comment/replies” so that we will consolidate all of the discussions.
Previously, people may leave a comment on the blog/ezine side that the folks in the forums never see. And there are those in the forums who left great responses to some of our articles that never are seen on the main site.
Let’s try it for a while and see how it works. Be sure and let us know. The biggest change is that you have to register and join TheWorshipCommunity.Com to be able to post a comment/reply. This is nothing new for the forum members, but is a new step for those who focus more on the articles.
