Logic Pro 9 : A Look At The New Features That Will Make A Difference For Worship Leaders

A few months ago Apple released the newest version of Logic Pro. I’ve been a casual Logic user for a few years now. Most of my work is done in Live and Reason but from time to time I have made a trip over to Logic. My time there has been pleasant, so at the announcement of a new release of Logic I jumped for Joy (ish..). I spent some time reviewing the news on the apple site and have made a few observations on what I feel will be the biggest benefits for Worship Leaders and Churches. I have yet to spend some Hands on time with it so I can’t attest to the full potential of all the features but merely predict how some of the features will be beneficial to worship leaders.

Review – Jared Anderson

Jared Anderson has been best known for his work with the Desperation Band and New Life Church in Colorado Springs. Through those ministries, you may know him as the writer of songs like ‘Rescue’ and ‘Amazed’. I became a fan through his 2008 project, ‘Where Faith Comes From’ because, frankly, it made me smile! His writing style is distinctively piano-driven, simple yet profound, and joy-provoking.

I recently received a copy of the new book by Len Wilson and Jason Moore titled “Taking Flight with Creativity: Worship Design Teams that Work.” Since getting started in worship media and design I’ve followed their career and writings since they were involved with Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City, Ohio. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.
I have been part of several discussions recently regarding this question; Is it okay to use foul language, get tattoos, piercings or socially drink (just to name a few) in order to create opportunities to share the gospel?
